Constitution of South Okanagan Sailing Association
Article 1
The name of the society is “SOUTH OKANAGAN SAILING ASSOCIATION”
Article 2
OBJECTS:
a) Encourage and promote safe sailing and handling of small wind and human powered watercraft for the development of good sporting conduct, leadership, and mental and physical health.
b) Provide accessible instruction in water safety and sailing skills from age 6 and up.
c) Promote and organize sailing and human powered watercraft competitions amongst members and with the community at large.
d) Manage and protect the foreshore and adjacent land utilized by the society to preserve the natural beauty and habitat of the site as park land.
