The Bruno is a day regatta open to all sailors with keelboats that have a PHRF rating between 80 and 260. This regatta is named after Bruno Lieppe who helped form and run both SOSA and the SYC for many years.
Please note that all participants must have an operating VHF radio for communication with the race committee. To facilitate planning, we kindly ask that all participants register 2 days prior to the race.
The typical race schedule is:
Saturday
10:30am – Registration Final Deadline
10:55am – Race warning signal
4:30pm – Race end time
The Bruno Lieppe Trophy and prize(s) will be given out during the Naramata Mug weekend on Saturday evening during the BBQ dinner. If you are wanting to join us for dinner, tickets will be available for purchase with cash on site or online via the Naramata Mug registration page.
Note: If there are any discrepancies between the above and the Notice of Race (NOR), the NOR will prevail.
