This Naramata Mug is a handicap event open to all monohull and multihull dinghies under 20 foot with a Portsmouth Handicap rating. Classes with more than five starters may be allocated their own start.
Entry fees include Saturday BBQ and Sunday breakfast (1 ticket each for single-hander, two tickets for double). Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday lunch tickets are extra.
Entries will be accepted until 18:00hrs the day before the event starts, but we request you register for racing and meal tickets 1 week in advance to facilitate planning.
REFUND POLICY
If an entrant voluntarily withdraws, the following refund rates will apply:
Withdraw 1 week or more before the start of the event: 75%
Withdraw 1 week or less, up to 6pm on the day before the start of the event: 50%
No refunds for withdrawals after 6pm on the day before the start of the event

RISK STATEMENT
RRS 3 states: "The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue to race is hers alone." By participating in this event each competitor agrees and acknowledges that sailing is a potentially dangerous activity with inherent risks. These risks include strong winds and rough seas, sudden changes in weather, failure of equipment, boat handling errors, poor seamanship by other boats, loss of balance on an unstable platform and fatigue resulting in increased risk of injury. Inherent in the sport of sailing is the risk of permanent, catastrophic injury or death by drowning, trauma, hypothermia or other causes.
INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of CAD $1 million per incident or the equivalent.
